InternNation Leadership Tour 2019

We feel proud to share InternNation, Leadership Tour an Initiative taken by Chhatra Sansad, a youth run organization with you.

InternNation is an immersive programme which provides an experiential learning platform for aspiring change makers, the young minds across the nation who are engaged in a wide spectrum of activities. It helps give first-hand exposure to governance models, an opportunity to interact with the visionaries behind the project and learn about the intricacies of policy making in action, amongst a host of other things. The Leadership Tour is a 10-day programme to explore governance setups. This programme offers interaction with experienced revolutionary leaders and role models internationally. The participants get to experience and hone their skills with the various governance projects across various states. Also, additionally they get a chance to travel along with likeminded people who have a similar vision. 

This platform also serves as a pathway to network with the best policy makers and leading policy thinkers. This leadership tour includes various projects that are to be carried out by the participants giving them the very much needed crucial first-hand experience to get to know about the intricacies of governing.

Last year, we travelled across 2 states of India namely Maharashtra and Delhi and interacted with role models like; Arnab Goswami, Rajat Sharma, Anna Hazare, Manish Sisodia, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Dr Harshvardhan, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Suresh Jain & Vishwanath Mahadeshwar. Along with that we also interacted with various NGOs across the 2 states.

In the United States of America too, we wish to learn and interact with distinguished personalities who have contributed to the American society.

The following projects will be taken up by our interns to enhance their skills:

- Working of the White House and Capitol Hill Building.

- Exploring the National Air and Space Museum, 

- National Museum of National History, 

- Jefferson Memorial, 

- Lincoln Memorial and Newsuem.

Functioning of the Pentagon and The United States Supreme Court.

Wisdom on national security with visits to Langley, Virginia.

Exploring the New York Post and learning about the intricacies of a media house.

Comprehending diplomacy and international relations and visit to the UN Headquarters.

Registration & Admission Process

Dates of the Tour: 25th June - 6th July
Registration Process:
Step One: Register yourself and fill up the form.
Step Two: send a short 30-40 second video where you talk about: 
(i) How have you helped the society?
(ii) What all extra curricular activities you have been involved in?
(iii) Why are you eligible to represent India at the White House?
The Applications Panel will review your video and you’ll be judged on:
1) Communication skills
2) Past work experiences in activities of your field.
3) Attitude 
4) Language Usage and appearance.
5) Overall Effectiveness 
Admissions Process:
Once selected, you will have to pay INR 50,000 to book your seat for the tour.
After your visa is approved, you will have to make a single payment of INR 3,00,000.
